“See. This is EXACTLY the sort of thing Giles warned Buffy to keep an eye out for…” I said to AJ as I pointed to the empty crypt in the creepy (but super cool) New Orleans cemetery as I referenced the classic television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Of course, I probably should have been thinking more of True Blood as we WERE in Louisiana. Thankfully we were wandering about New Orleans’ Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 during the daytime and not at night so there was little chance of being attacked by vampires and the undead. AJ and I meandered around the gravestones and faded silk flowers, taking photos and looking at all the worn stone and cracked marble wondering about all the history buried on the grounds. I involuntarily shivered, despite it being warm and humid, and we soon left, glancing behind our backs occasionally, to make sure no one (or thing) was following us.

Loved all these shots. Great collection of beauty in the midst of a place usually not seen in that light.

Nice pics! So cool. I would love to visit here at night time. I actually love the thrill of being spooked. I’m weird like that lol
