50 Chicken Wings Recipes (A Roundup!)

Looking for a chicken wings recipe? Here’s a roundup of 50 chicken wings recipes from around the web!

50 Chicken Wings Recipes! A Roundup by Irvin Lin of Eat the Love.

I’m going to be dead honest. I have little to no interest in football. Which makes living in San Francisco right now a bit crazy. Because the 50th Super Bowl is happening here in San Francisco! Well, close to San Francisco, it’s actually about 45 miles south of San Francisco but for whatever reason there’s tons of Super Bowl and football stuff happening here in SF. But What I DO love is the food that is associated with football and the Super Bowl. Did you know that 1 1/4 billion chicken wings are eaten on Super Bowl weekend? BILLION! That’s 8 million pounds of chicken wings. And if you haven’t already figured out what sort of wings to make for the big day, I’m here to help you out! Here’s a roundup of 50 (FIFTY) different chicken wings recipes from around the web (as well as on my blog Eat the Love) for your pleasure. Happy footballing! Just don’t ask me who I’m rooting for. I haven’t a clue who’s even playing….

And to think chicken wings used to be $.10 a pound. They were practically giving them away in the grocery stores and the only reason people bought wings were for stock. We’ve certainly come a long way– and not necessarily for the good. All of the recipes sound delicious. Are you and AJ tired of wings yet??

All your wing recipes have inspired me to host a wing competition night next Saturday. I challenged my friends who like to cook to make a batch of their favorite wings and compete for a ridiculous homemade trophy. The competition is getting fierce.

"Mr. Lin, a graphic designer in San Francisco who writes the food blog Eat the Love, takes risks in nearly every one of the 150 elaborate recipes in his book. He doesn’t just paint the lily; he bejewels and shellacs it, too."
–MELISSA CLARK for the New York Times

“My goodness, this cookbook! It’s filled to the brim with recipes for the most splendidly beautiful cakes, cookies, breads, and tarts I think I’ve ever seen. My eyes kept getting wider and wider as I turned every page—both the flavor combinations and the photos are out of this world. Irvin Lin has most definitely outdone himself. This book is a triumph!”
—REE DRUMMOND, New York Times best-selling author of The Pioneer Woman Cooks

“Irvin Lin gives home-baked treats a twist, ramping them up with a range of contemporary flavors that are sure to surprise and delight. From beer-battered brownies to smoky butterscotch taking a classic cake to the next level, I can’t wait to mix, stir, and bake my way through Marbled, Swirled, and Layered!”
—DAVID LEBOVITZ, author of My Paris Kitchen
