I wasn’t joking when I mentioned in my granola post that you can randomly point a camera in any direction and still get a great picture at Yosemite National Park. The fact that AJ and I walked away (limped actually, as we had a few blisters from our cheap hiking boots) from our trip there with over 1200 photos should prove that point. That’s the problem with digital photography, the opposite of film. When I shot film, I was careful about the photos I took hoping that I didn’t miss a shot. The opposite is true with digital, where you can take as many as you want, but then you have to wade through all the images in the post-process. But the real problem is when you are confronted with 1200+ gorgeous photos of nature. That’s the real issue with Yosemite. How can something that beautiful be captured in photographs? It really can’t. But AJ and I tried our best.
[This is part two of a two-part post. Feel free to visit my previous post with photos from Yosemite, as well as the granola recipe that I posted here which I brought along on our numerous hikes.]

=) We should share Yosemite photos!! I love these – stayed in that same area where those people got really sick from mice poop.
